Affiliated to the prestigious Relais & Chateaux chain, Le Taha’a Island Resort & Spa is one of the most luxurious hotels in the South Pacific. The resort is located on the coral reef of motu Tautau and faces the island of Taha’a on the lagoon side. It offers an unsurpassed view of the island of Bora Bora on the ocean side. This traditional Polynesian style hotel is 5 minutes by private boat from the main island of Taha’a.

It features 45 Overwater Suites (90 sq meters) & 10 Beach Villas (180 sq meters) and 2 very new Royal Beach Villas (250 sq meters).
Beach Villas, Tahaa Suites, Sunset Suites and Bora Bora Suites are respectively facing the lagoon, Mount Ohiri on Tahaa island, the lagoon and sunsets and the ocean with Bora Bora island in the background. The facilities include : private patio & tropical gardens, private swimming pool (beach villas), spacious lounge and terrace, private deck with direct access to the lagoon (overwater suites).

The public areas are built in the trees, providing an exquisite view of the lagoon and the island of Taha’a. 3 restaurants : one pool side and beach, the other two in the heart of the resort among the trees. The main one is for buffet and polynesian show and the other for fine dining. Besides the wide range of activities & excusions available in Raiatea & Taha’a, the resort has its own overwater Spa: Tahitian shower, balneo or massage, you can choose the best experience.

The nearest airport being in Raiatea, the transfer to the hotel is operated in speed boat and lasts for 45 mn. A 1 hour transfer by private boat or an 15-minute helicopter flight are also available to reach the hotel from Bora Bora (contact us for more details).
