1. Prices published on our French web site (www.etahititravel.pf)

• All prices published on our website (including the total price calculated by EZ Trip Builder) are in Euros or US dollars and include all taxes (Tourist tax of 5%, VAT of 6% and service charge), except for a municipal tax of 1.50 USD (one dollar and 50 cents) / person / night that needs to be paid directly to your hotel.
• All prices published on our website (including the total price calculated by EZ Trip Builder) are subject to change according to the USD / Euro exchange rate fluctuation.
• Vacation packages rates published on our website are not subject to itemization.
• In all cases, only the total amount as mentioned in the final quote sent to you by travel agent will apply (see §2).

2. Total amount included in final quote (sent to you by e-Tahiti Travel)

• The total amount displayed in your final quote is expressed in US dollars and includes all taxes (Tourist tax of 5% and VAT of 6%), except for a municipal tax of 1.50 USD (one dollar and 50 cents) / person / night that needs to be paid directly to your hotel.
• We will honor that total amount for a maximum of 60 days after its date of emission.
• The total amount displayed in your final quote is not subject to itemization.
• All our quotes are discounted for payment by Visa card, Mastercard or bank transfer. For payment by American Express, the 2% discount no longer applies.

3. Land transfers

• Except in Tahiti, roundtrip land transfers from island airport (or ferry) to your hotel are compulsory. They are automatically included in your package price.
• In Tahiti island, land transfers organized by e-Tahiti Travel are operated by South Pacific Tours. In Moorea island, transfers are operated by Moorea Transport.
• Land transfers in Tahiti are optional.

4. Documents / vouchers

• Except for international plane tickets, all travel documents / vouchers will be delivered to you by one of our guides upon your international arrival, at Tahiti Faaa International airport.
• For your international flights, e-tickets will be sent to you by email.

5. Reservations / Booking policy

5.1 Deposit

For all reservations, a deposit is required to hold your booking. Reception of your deposit will act as a confirmation of your reservation.
Availability for all services will be checked before we process any payment.

Deposit Amount :

• Case 1 : If your travel package does not include international flights --> 10% of total amount of the travel package ;
• Case 2 : If your international flights are included in your travel package --> 1.000 USD (one thousand US dollars) per person in Coach class (eco), 3.000 USD (three thousands US dollars) per person in Business class, 5.000 USD (five thousand US dollars) per person in First class (see §6 for further information)

• For reservations made less than 30 days prior to your arrival, full payment for all services is due upon confirmation.
  

  5.2 Balance payment:

  The rest of the payment must be received 30 days or more prior to your arrival in French Polynesia. In case the full payment is not received after we send you a final notice, your file will be automatically cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded.

6. International flight tickets

• Once your e-tickets are issued, they'll be sent to you by email.
• Once tickets are issued, the following fees will be charged per ticket:
  - Modification : 12.000 XPF (approx 140 USD)
  - Cancellation before departure : 24.000 XPF (approx 280 USD) - After departure : No refund (ie : 100% cancelation fee)
  

7. Payments

• By credit cards :
  • VISA, MasterCard and American express are accepted. For payment by American Express, 2% will be added to your quote (see §2).
  • For security purposes, all payments made with a credit card must be accompanied by our Credit Card Authorization form duly completed, that needs to be faxed to our office at +689 83 61 94, along with a photocopy of the credit card's owner passport and a photocopy of the credit card. Failing to provide these documents will prevent us from charging your credit card.

8. Modifications of a confirmed reservation

• In case of additional services, all modifications to a confirmed itinerary will be made at no extra cost other than the prices of these additional services.
• In all other cases (reduction of the stay length, number of persons or itinerary changes), the cancellation general policy described below will apply.
• Once international plane tickets are issued, all modification is subject to a 12.000 XPF (approx 140 USD) fee per ticket.

9. Cancellation / Refunds

• General policy
  • More than 30 days prior to arrival at Tahiti : Full refund of all payments received except for a flat fee of 50 Euros per file.
  • Between 15 and 30 days : 60% refund
  • Less than 15 days : No refund.
• If your reservation includes a cruise or a trip to Easter Island, special cancellation conditions apply. These special conditions will be notified to you at the time of your reservation.
• All requests for cancellation must be submitted in written by email or by fax. A confirmation email will be sent to you within 2 business days. If you do not receive this email from our office within this period, please call our office immediately at +689 83 51 60.
• Once travel has begun, any cancellation or changes to the itinerary are at the traveler's own expense. In that case, any additional fees charged by airlines, hotels, or other service provider that may occur will be at the traveler's own expense.

11. Passenger responsibility

• All travelers are required to carry a valid passport with an expiration date of at least 6 months after the scheduled returning date.
• Regulations require that all visa free travelers, including children, entering the United States under the Visa Waiver Program on or after October 26, 2004 be in possession of individual machine-readable passports
• Non US citizens may need a VISA to transit in the USA. Please, check http://travel.state.gov/ before departure.
• eTahiti Travel nor the air carrier can be held responsible for costs, expenses, or damages actual or consequential, resulting from the failure to obtain a valid passport and/or visa as required by the law of French Polynesia and France, or for the refusal of French authorities to admit the passenger to the French Polynesia territory for any reason whatsoever.
• eTahiti Travel nor the air carrier can be held responsible for missed international departure flight due to passenger failure to show on time at the airport.

12. Limitation of eTahiti Travel responsibility

eTahiti Travel and its suppliers will not be held responsible for any damage, delay or irregularity, expense or liability arising from sickness, theft, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, war, weather conditions, nor for any additional expenses or damages due to changes in advertised schedules or services, or any cause beyond their control.

13. Protection of funds

e-Tahiti Travel is registered with the Service of Tourism as a travel agency under Licence # 0018 issued by the Ministry of Tourism of French Polynesia. As such, all customer deposits are secured in a e-Tahiti Travel Trust Account.

14. Resolution of disputes

Any controversy or claim related to a eTahiti Travel tour shall be resolved by the Court of Papeete - Tahiti.
